Puppy Preschool

Preschool for puppies

At Mosman Park Veterinary Hospital our puppy classes will help to get your new furry friend off on the right paw.

Puppies have their most critical learning period between the ages of 6 to 16 weeks of age. It is important to start training and socialising your puppy as soon as you bring him/her home as he/she is learning life lessons now. It is important to remember that how you treat your puppy now will set the standard for the rest of your dog’s life.

Why bring your Pup to Preschool?

It’s a great opportunity to socialise your puppy in a safe and controlled environment.
Learn the skills to teach your puppy basic manners such as sit, stay, drop and come.
Learn how to deal with problem behaviours like mouthing, chewing and jumping up using positive reinforcement and motivational methods.
Teach your puppy to have positive associations with the veterinary hospital.

Puppy Preschool Classes

Puppy classes are run for 4 weeks on weeknights at 7:30pm.

Simone is your puppy preschool instructor. Simone has been training puppies here for over 10 years and has a wealth of experience and education in dog training and behaviour. Simone also conducts classes for older dogs off site and even organises agility classes.
